I NEVER want to grow up

Magical is the only word I can come up with to describe our recent 7 day trip to California. Three of those days we spent in Disneyland and California Adventures. To anyone who is ever wondering what time of the year is a good time to go I would say October. The weather was a comfortable 75 degrees and partly sunny the whole time! Our trip started out with an unexpected plane ticket which I am SOOO grateful for after the tantrums Tate throws when he is in his carseat. After our 1 1/2 flight (not 10 hours of driving) Jake had another card up his sleeve and he surprised us with three nights in the Paradise Pier Hotel with a room that overlooked the California Adventure. Oh my heavens I could LIVE in this hotel room it was so nice and the cast members there are as sweet as the characters!
To welcome us to our room they gave us chocolates and a plate of rice crispy goodies! Love it!!

After our magical hotel stay we got up early and had early priority tickets to get into the park and our first stop.....Carsland! This place rocks! It looks just like Radiator Springs and to top it off they have Lightening Macqueen driving around!
The ride there is SWEEEEET but it is a seriously long line to wait in and unfortunately the ride is only a few seconds. Definetely one that is worth doing at least once and if you want a fastpass you better get your running shoes on because those babies are gone an hour after the park opens! CRAZY
Tate was enjoying his first time to Disneyland as well and they even gave him a pin to sport on his overalls. Such a stud!
Daddy LOVED and I mean LOVED going on the rides with Ella. We always told ourselves that we would never bring young children to Disneyland because it is expensive and they would never be able to appreciate it all! Well....all of that is true....but the memories are for Jake and I! We know Ella probably won't remember a whole lot about this trip but we love that she has a HUGE imagination and at Disneyland dreams really do come true and Jake loved seeing her eyes light up with each new attraction and that he got to be apart of that. Love my man (doesn't he look HOT in the Bugsland cart)
To cool down Ella got all wet at Bugsland where they have misters and spray. I would like to think that the water was clean :)
It just so happens that when you are in a Bugsland... you also see bugs.....such as Flick!
Soarin over California is one of my favorite rides and although Ella was a little skeptical on the ride she  posed for a picture because I know her daddy is a huge fan of planes.
Afraid of heights????ME??? Why yes I am! I was holding on to Ella so tight on the Fairess Wheel I could feel her heart beating.  But such an incredible view of the whole park!
This little princess was crowned an "Honorary Princess" and she wore that crown proudly... and stickers on her ears.
We suprised Ella with a special dinner with the princesses. This is a great event to do if you have little girls who share the same imaginiation that Ella has. It is at Ariel's Gratto in California Adventures and you get a killer good meal and a one on one opportunity to meet the lovely ladies of the park. Snow White was the first to enter the royal dinner and Ella could hardly contain herself! She kept standing up on her chair and calling out to her. Eventually Snow White made her way over and Ella told her she was her "best friend" and she "loved her very much." Tender moment for mommy!
Next came Princess Aurora! She is by far my favorite and she was so good to listen to Ella rant and rave about how beautiful she was and how they were best friends too!
When Cinderella came out I thought both Ella and I were going to have a heart attack! This is the first princess that I introduced Ella too when she was younger. Ella fell in LOVE with Cinderella and the personality of this lady was perfect to go along with the dress. She was so sweet and sat there for the longest time while Ella chatted her ear off. I am seriously never going to forget that moment. AMAZING!!
Next came out princess Minnie and Minnie gave Ella lots of loves and kisses as she pranced around the floor. Minnie is well known by Ella and I mean....who doesn't LOVE Minnie?
Last but not certainly least was the delicious desserts that came after our fabulous meal. I loved all the detail they give to even the desserts. There was "pixie dust" in our frosting and they had a white chocolate konk (sp) shell that was so yummy. Over all the food was good the entertainment was fantastic and the bill was high....who cares! Worth EVERY penny!!!
